Nuhad Ponce is an attorney with more than 20 years of experience in corporate law, data privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, metaverse, and digital rights. She is currently de Director Partner at Ponce Kuri, S.C.
Nuhad is an attorney licensed in Mexico where she obtained her JD at Universidad Panamericana, she also obtained her Master`s Degree in Business and Corporate Law with highest honors from the Universidad Panamericana, and is certified by Normatividad y Certificación Electrónica (NYCE), as a Certified Professional in Data Protection, Senior Level.
Nuhad is First Vice President of the National Board of Directors, of the Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa, Colegio de Abogados (Mexican Bar) (ANADE). Since 2010, she is certified as a corporate and business lawyer by that Association. She is member of the Council of the Asociación Jurídica Mexicano Libanesa, Al Muhami, A.C. She is Honorary President of the Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales (INAI). She is the President of the Cibersecurity Board of the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial (CCE), and member of the Consejería Jurídica de la Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (COPARMEX). She is considered one of the most influential lawyers in Mexico, by Foro Jurídico magazine. She is also member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
She has been a law professor at the Universidad Panamericana, for more than 10 years teaching Data Protection Law.
