Gabriel obtained his law degree cum laude from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
Gabriel has more than 15 years of experience in the practice of environmental law in many industries such as oil & gas, tourism, infrastructure and equator principles.
Gabriel has worked extensively with domestic and international NGOs and local and federal governments. He participated in drafting model rules on environmental issues for indigenous communities in Mexico and has handled many indigenous consultations and public hearings throughout Mexico.
Gabriel obtained his masters degree in environmental law and policy with distinction from the Center for Environmental Research and Learning. Gabriel is a partner with Bustamante & Freyre.
Gabriel is licensed in Mexico and fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and French.
